Writing this comic has forced me to research all kinds of things I'd never thought about before. This morning, I wondered, "What happens to soap in a fire?" Answer?
In fact, sometimes soap is used to fight fires, which would explain why the Von Schleppens haven't invested in a high tech sprinkler system. One industrious person with a bountiful supply of soap and a lighter suggested the Ivory soap did actually start to burn, but only as long as she held the lighter to it.
I do believe, however, that some of the chemicals used to make soap (held in abundance in the factory) would, in fact, be flammable, and I like to imagine that when they burned, it smelled like lavender.
Got any other soap-burning or not-burning facts? Leave them in the comments!
I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to say, but Brent says that I should announce that there will be some changes to Alien Ads, so you should pay attention! Also, he's posted a list of his top 10 Super Heroes here on the reviews page!
